ACT® Semi-Private Tutoring
Semi-private ACT® test prep provides individualized mentoring and allows for a customized schedule to fit in to your student’s busy days. This prep program offers 16 hours of semi-private tutoring covering all 4 sections of the ACT. Regardless of level, these 16 hours will be divided to your student’s specific needs giving your student the customized path to success!
Individualized Instruction:
ACT Semi-Private tutoring gives your student access to specialized tutors in each of the 4 sections of the ACT. There will be no more than 3 total students per tutor. Your student will receive individualized instruction with the test coach, the tutor will then have your student work on a concept while helping the other students.
Exclusive SEC Prep Books:
We provide your student with two prep books that are used during the tutoring session and to provide extra practice at home. One book will cover the Reading and English sections while the other covers Math and Science. Our books work directly with the score reports provided after a practice test to allow your student to focus very specifically on an area of need. The books will be used in the tutoring sessions as well as providing extra practice at home.
Customized Schedule:
We know student’s schedules can be busy. With semi-private tutoring we will work with you on a custom schedule that will work for your student. After purchase, we will contact you and get your student scheduled. Typically, we recommend 2 days per week to keep a steady pace but we will accommodate the plan that works best for you and your student.
Learning Style:
Each student has their own learning style. Our ACT mentors spend time to get to know your student and will guide their journey based on how they learn. This not only helps your student’s confidence, but will also allow your student to learn concepts more effectively.
Tracking Progress:
Along the way, we will offer your student to come in for full length ACT practice test. Once graded, SEC provides an exclusive score report that breaks down the test to very specific sub categories so we can see exactly where your student’s strengths and weaknesses are. You and your student can meet with one of our test experts and adjust the remaining schedule if needed. This provides a very customized journey to your student’s goals!
16 Hours:
Our ACT package comes with 16 hours of ACT semi-private tutoring and provides the lowest hourly cost of each session. Each session is one hour and is specific to one of the four sections of the ACT. This allows for 4 hours in each section, however, we will customize these 16 hours to what your student needs. For example, if your student is higher in Math and Science but weaker in English and Reading, we can adjust those 16 hours to have more English and Reading sessions.
This ACT semi-private package includes 16 hours of semi-private tutoring. We can customize how those 16 sessions are divided between the 4 sections of the ACT based on your student’s unique needs. We will also customize the schedule that works best for you. The price also includes SEC’s exclusive ACT Prep Books that will be used in class as well as provide extra practice at home.
