Missing assignments can have a major negative impact on student grades, and oftentimes, parents can not be home to monitor this situation. Having seen the need, SEC has developed a homework support program for high school and middle school students who need to hone study skills in a safe, directed haven where they can complete assignments. A study skills assessment and consultation is available and after homework completion they can work on a program designed to better their study skills.
In SEC's High School Homework Support, students are in a directed and monitored situation where they can complete all assignments in addition to having grades pulled weekly to check for any missing work. It is recommended that homework support students sign up for two hours per day, Monday through Thursday, and the cost per month which includes 32 hours per month (8 hours per week) of homework support guidance for homework completion, grade tracking, study skills assessment and study skills enhancement training is $550. Part time support which includes 16 hours (4 hours per week) of homework support, study skills assessment and enhancement training is $330 a month. We can also do grade tracking for part time support for an additional $20 a month.
